CCIB holds first retreat in its new home

The CCIB gathered for our first retreat in our new home (the JHSC) for a fantastic day of scientific talks, posters, and discussion. Then we headed over to Philadelphia and boarded the Freedom Elite for a fun evening cruise on the Delaware River, past the facing skylines of Philadelphia and Camden.    

CCIB has moved to the new state-of-the-art Joint Health Sciences Center

The newest element in Camden’s “Eds and Meds” corridor, the Joint Health Sciences Center at the corner of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Broadway houses lab and training spaces for multiple universities and is the only facility in the state to house important functions of two four-year institutions, a county college, and two medical schools…. continue reading

CCIB Director Nir Yakoby awarded NSF Grant

CCIB Director Dr. Nir Yakoby (Biology) was awarded a three-year, $600,000 grant from the National Science Foundation IOS grant to study the evolution of posterior fate among Drosophila species. Congratulations!
