CCIB PhD Student Nidhi Sheth (Grgicak Lab) won the Graduate Research Fellowship from National Institute of Justice (NIJ) to work on “Selectively analyzing and interpreting DNA from multiple donors with a full Single-Cell strategy.” This fellowship provides three years of tuition, full stipend, and other research expenses (combined up to $50k/year). CCIB Associate Professor Dr. David Salas-de la Cruz (Chemistry, Graduate Program Director) was awarded a five-year, $4,600,000 grant from the National Science Foundation CMMI. It is a multi university effort with University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, Rowan University and Rutgers-Camden. CCIB Faculty Member Dr. Hao Zhu (Chemistry) received a 2.78 million R01 grant from National Institute of Health (NIH).
