CCIB PhD Student Nidhi Sheth awarded Graduate Research Fellowship from NIJ

CCIB PhD Student Nidhi Sheth (Grgicak Lab) won the Graduate Research Fellowship from National Institute of Justice (NIJ) to work on “Selectively analyzing and interpreting DNA from multiple donors with a full Single-Cell strategy.” This fellowship provides three years of tuition, full stipend, and other research expenses (combined up to $50k/year). Associate Professor David Salas-de la Cruz awarded NSF Grant

CCIB Associate Professor Dr. David Salas-de la Cruz (Chemistry, Graduate Program Director) was awarded a five-year, $4,600,000 grant from the National Science Foundation CMMI. It is a multi university effort with University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, Rowan University and Rutgers-Camden. Professor Dr. Shu Yang from University of Pennsylvania is the Principal Investigator. Congratulations to you all!

CCIB Professor Hao Zhu awarded NIH grant

CCIB Faculty Member Dr. Hao Zhu (Chemistry) received a 2.78 million R01 grant from National Institute of Health (NIH). This five-year project aims to develop novel mechanism-driven Virtual Adverse Outcome Pathway (vAOP) models for the fast and accurate assessment of hepatotoxicity in a high-throughput manner. Congratulatioins!
