The Rutgers University – Camden Annual Research Week was a big success for the CCIB, with many of our members being recognized for their achievements or presenting their research! On Tuesday of the week of events, Dr. Angelica Gonzalez was given the prestigious Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Research and Creative Activity (check out her dedicated post here!) and Dr. Brain Corbett’s research in stress neuroscience in mice was highlighted during the faculty presentations. On Thursday, our graduate program director, Dr. Eric Klein was the featured speaker for the sixth annual faculty fellowship lecture where he spoke about his research in bacterial sphingolipids. Finally on Friday, many CCIB students presented posters for their research during the graduate student poster session!
