Congratulations to Dr. Angélica L. González for being promoted to an Associate Professor with Tenure! Dr. González is a broadly-trained ecologist with interests that range from organismal traits to community and ecosystem ecology. Much of her research is concerned with the effects of natural and human-induced environmental changes on the diversity, composition and function of communities and ecosystems. Since she joined the Biology Department in 2015, she has taught ecology courses to both undergraduates and graduate students, while conducting and mentoring graduate students in exciting ecological research.
This is a well-deserved promotion, and we are so excited to see what Angélica’s future here at CCIB holds!
